Aside from all the normal tourist things listed in every guide book.

There are numerous Holiday Markets. Union Square, Bryant Park, Columbus Circle. Visit the Brooklyn Flea at the One Hanson Place in Brooklyn.

There is outdoor ice skating at Wolman Rink, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center and probably a couple of other places.

You should go see the windows of the major department stores. They do them up big.

Have Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity III.

Others will add more stuff, but there's your start.

I'm sure the strip clubs will be open. Probably some illegal gambling, too. Lots of heavy metal clubs. I think some children's playgrounds will be open.

Without any effort for any input on what you are interested in doing or not doing, you are just going to get random suggestions.

Put a little effort into giving us some information.

NYC will be bustling with shoppers and tourists--even on Christmas Eve night. You'll enjoy it.

FAO Schwarz, and if you're into it, right nearby is where the horse-drawn carriage rides around Central Park start.

FAO Schwarz is a big toy store with overpriced toys. If you're not a child I can't imagine the appeal. They don't even have the fabulous holiday windows they had when I was a child.
