Driving to Dubrovnik from Spit
Hello, what's the best way to drive a car from Spit to Dubrovnik? I'm aware of 2 ways:1. Using the ferry boat from Ploce to Trpanj
2. Driving the 8 through Bosina
Which is the best way? Is there another way?
When is the boarder open? Is there an exit/entry tax? Which is the most common route?

What do you mean with "best way"? Most scenic or fastest? Sticking to the freeway until it ends (it's not yet built all the way to Dubrovnik) and then the coast road via that bit of Bosnia is the fastest. Not taking the freeway and going via Peljesac will be more scenic but will take longer (and you will have to pay for the ferry of course).3
Drive the 8 unless in a hurry in which case take the motorway as outlined above. Very scenic. Border always open. No taxes. Make sure your insurance covers you for Bosnia.
