Trip to Kamchatka in October

I am considering a trip to Kamchatka in October this year. Has anyone done a Kamchatka in October? What are the volcano tours still accessible in early / mid October? What are the issues to be mindful of (cold / rains / mosquitoes?) Any thoughts are highly welcome.

Hello! I have relatives which are living in Kamchatka and, if I'm not mistaken, the weather in October is damn cold!! Like -20 (celcium), so do you realy think it will be a good trip?
