Hi make sure you book your gorilla permit in advance.
-Be ready with Worm clothes, trekking boots, a rain coat just in case it rains.
The Gorilla encounter is a great experience.good luck

Although there will be a 20% rain to find you in the Jungle, the Bwindi area is generally cold. Do not forget light rain gear and jacket/poncho

I wouldn't get too hung up on the weather in Uganda - we went in May at the end of one of the two rainy seasons and had no major problems but the weather can be unpredictable. The only place really where we saw significant rain was Bwindi and it is a rainforest so can get rain anytime. We did two gorilla treks (one in Uganda, one in Rwanda) and it was dry for both treks. It rained a bit one afternon at Bwindi and the next day when we did the waterfall walk at Buhoma, Bwindi, it rained non-stop for 3 hours! We still enjoyed it though. Aside from that there were occasional thunderstorms at night but it was generally dry, sunny and nice and warm for our trip. There is a report from another poster who recently return on a different forum and they are just back but seemed to have just as much rain - if not more - than we did!

So go and enjoy it! No matter what month of the year you go, you need to take a mac or other raingear. You will love Uganda - it is an amazing country but the roads are really something else!! Do be prepared for delays and diversions as the road infrastructure is very basic.
