Online Visa
Has anyone obtained a Myanmar visa using this online tool:http://www.myanmarevisa.gov.mm/
Just wondering if it is any better than getting it from the embassy here in Canada.

This query comes up weekly and there are pages of comment if you look for themAs Cassie says ,it does not yet work, they have been working on the system since it was announced in April but it is not yet up and running and will be "test run" on SE Asia countries before being rolled out to Westerners.
Until your local Embassy web site shows it is working just use the normal application. The London embassy shows the evisa link but it doesn't work

I tried the government's e-visa site last week. It was not working then, couldn't enter a credit card number, it just bypassed that part. Got an application number and a code though it's not valid.Also, I sent the application to Ottawa by express mail last week (August 14, 2012) from Quebec City and just got the visa a few minutes ago (August 24).
Really looking forward to be in Myanmar!
