Has anyone got a report on the hot springs resort near Hue

Sure, I was there a couple of years back, nice day trip. They have most of the standard water park/hot springs stuff. The wave pool machine was broken when I was there, but everything else was OK. There is food, and BEER not sure if there are accommodations.
Good place to girl watch, but the western girls in small (some very small) bathing suits caused a bit of an upset for some of the locals.

I went there on the 2nd September national holiday in 2010. It was extremely crowded that day but lots of good food and drinks were available. I went with my home stay family and think I was the only foreigner there that day.

There is a hotel nearby - not quite at the springs but I think it was within walking distance.

There are 2. My An is about 7 km from Hue on the way to the beach. It is ok for a day trip and has some resort rooms you can rent for the day or overnight. Thanh Tan is about 30 km north of Hue and is much nicer. There is a fully functioning resort right there although the rooms are a little musty.
