From Delhi to Nepal/Tibet/Himalayas ?

Hi.

I'll be going to India in early October.
It'll be my 3rd time in India, but I haven't seen that much yet.
Still, I think I'd much rather go somewhere high rather than anywhere else. In general I'm a big fan of nature as opposed to human artifacts such as Taj Mahal (however great they might be)
Is it a good time of the year to visit Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet etc?

Other than the business part of the trip, I will only have ca 10 days for the touristic part.
What do you recommend in that time span, mountain or otherwise?

How should I travel to Himalayas, by plane?

Hi

October is a good time to visit Nepal; it's high season for trekking. On a limited time frame I would fly to KTM.

Currently, a group of 5 people (minimum) is required to get a Tibet Travel Permit and for Bhutan an organised tour is needed and the cost is some $240 plus single supplement.

October is a great time to be trekking anywhere in the Indian himalayas as well, barring perhaps Ladakh.
