WWOOF-ing in Spain
Hi to everyone,My g/f and I are thinking of travelling around the north east/east/south east of Spain down to Granada and maybe beyond and would like to do some WWOOFing allong the way. Has anyone here had any experience of doing this in these areas? I've done it before in Australia and found it dead easy, all hosts (well almost) very friendly and found out much more about the area than I would of done on my own.
So over to you, we'd love to head some stories of what people got up to when they WWOOFed in Spain!!

Plenty of Wwoofing to be found in Spain but make your plans early as hosts get booked up quickly especially during the winter as the north freezes over. Go with a positive attitude as hosts can get mighty pissed off with Wwoofers who are on the holiday part of a "working-holiday" - yes we host Wwoofers, Workawayers & HelpXers. Most Wwoofers have been good and there have been a number of outstanding ones - by this I mean those who are pro-active, think for themselves, know at least the difference between a weed and a lettuce seedling, can wash up (several Californians couldn't even stack a dish washer) and volunteer that little bit extra. In return you should get good meals and a reasonable place to stay. We offer use of bikes, surfing, swimming pool.
Hope you enjoy your experience - let us know how it goes.
PS we're booked up until early next year.
