Devil's nose train info

Hello everybody,

I'm just looking for some recent information regarding the Devil's nose. I'll be traveling from Banos to either Alausi or Riobamba.
The destination depends on where the train runs from.

I understood the line was closed between Riobamba --> Alausi last year, so to ride the train to see Nariz del diablo you had to start from Alausi. Has the line been re-opened?

The above link details times from Riobamba, but I'm unsure how recent the information is. Has anyone used the train recently that could please give me some advice.
