Our Sally Wins Gold!
Oh what a happy day. Turned the radio on just after 6 this morning to hear Sally Pearson wins a gold medal in the women's 100m hurdles. What great news, especially after she was stripped of her gold medal back at the 2010 Commonwealth Games after a protest by the English team.Poetic justice and all that.
Well done Sally.

Anna Meares as well. Now if we can just beat Kazakhstan......2
Having been to Kazakhstan a few weeks ago, they seemed very disinterested in the olympics. I asked about wrestlers etc. They are doing quite well.3
Having been to Kazakhstan a few weeks agoI hope you've been using at a lot. It's a great way to start a sentence.
Two more golds, two more silver and you'll beat out Germany too.
Btw "Aus Zealand" are now in 6th place. ;-)

Having been to China recently, it's glad I am to see they have more gold medals than the Americans. Who would have thought it?

Actually i was in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan but only the Kazakhs are going well. They did seem to have a higher standard of livign and were much more friendly towards Russia. As for China, I was detained by immigration and kicked out of there as the embassy gave me the wrong visa.............. True story don't tell the cat, it will fuel his paranoia.
