Agree with #1, AirAsia usually have the best prices when they are running a promotion. The just finished an offer ,excluding tax, for HK-Philippines flights at 4THB and 1THB internal from Clark. I was too busy deciding where to go and missed it.You might get a better price by flying to/from Macau or just across the Chinese (probably need visa for China) border rather than HK.
On my last check BK-HK-BK (return) was cheaper with Emirates than AirAsia plus the benefit of getting some food and TV to watch.

Prices change by the minute on AirAsia so you'll have to check for yourself.I fly them all the time all across Asia and have nothing but good things to say about them, given how cheap their tickets are! And they never give you any hassle about flying to a country on a one-way ticket without a visa. Love that!
