Fastest way going to Hanoi from Ho Chi Minh?
I will be visiting Vietnam on October and my stay is only for 4 days. I know that this is relatively short for my stay especially that ill be travelling from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi. I must travel between those 2 places because my flight to go back to my country is from Hanoi.What is the fastest way aside from plane? Can you please help me? I have searched the internet for train routes and is it right that the fastest train would be SE8? But I also read that it does not operate daily. Is this true?

The SE8 would get OP into Hanoi mid afternoon Day 2 rather than early Day3. Its just that SE8 has more stops and only one night is spent on the train. Either one theres plenty of contingency time if OP has 4 days to make the trip.9
Too waste for spending train from hochiminh to hanoi, you spend 2 days & 2 nights on train. The best choice is plane. If you book early you can receive cheap air fare.Good luck
