El Salvador - budget beach rentals for a month
Hello everyone,As you can see from my flurry of posts and replies over the last few days - I've finally decided to start the next long trip in El Salvador. I'll be working while travelling on this trip so have some special needs :) Most of which I'm finding answers to so won't bother you too much about.
But I am hoping people will have recommendations for either specific places that is near a beach with a private room that I can rent for a month. I'm hoping to find something for up to $400.
I do also need internet access :)
Thanks for any help!

I once talked with some Canadian web master guy, who came to Central America for 3 - 6 months at a time (to Antigua Guatemala, specifically), and came to El Salvador to Juayua Ruta de las Flores - and worked from there with the hotel's wi-fi.3
Yeah - it's looking like El Salvador has higher prices for accomodation than I thought. 6-800/month seems to be the average. It's surprised me though - I've found 3-500 easily in Honduras, but different countries and all that. I still think if I show up and walk around I could probably get something for less than $600, but not sure how much less.

@roquemocan - Thanks alot for that blog, I think that will be very helpful. Good reading about the building of the outhouse :)@nicoleelsal - Thanks for the info as well. I've been thinking that just showing up would be the best idea. I had another post about Guatemala that got sidetracked into talking about El Sal, and no one who posted there seemed to think I would be able to find cheaper accommodation.
Unfortunately though I'm going to be sure about the first month, and in the last couple of days decided to go to Guatemala first. But I will be heading to El Salvador in a couple of months and again looking for a place to stay for 1-2 months again.
I've been thinking I should look into data prices throughout CA - it may make things much easier. It's always based on how much you use though and I have no idea what bandwidth I go thru working. I think in a day or 2 I'll put a monitor app on the computer and see what it averages. It can't really be that much though :)

You can browse through the El Salvador listings at Otalo.com - they search all the rental sites and list them centrally....http://www.otalo.com/vacation-rentals/El%20Salvador/r.jsp
