Transfer from Bled to Valvasorjev Dom

Hello,

I want to ascend Stol during my stay in Bled. I read best and fastest would be to start from Valvasorjev Dom. Since I will not be travelling by car, is there a transfer from Bled to the lodge of Valvasorjev?

Or does anyone has a link to an ascent forum where I can find such information? (I'm not a big hiker, but figured there needs to be at least one ascent when staying in Bled).

Puuh, that is quite some altitude difference to overcome. Maybe renting a car will be the better way - although quite senseless, to rent a car and then park it for 6 hours :p

I like that route a lot. That is a fantastic alternative. Thanks a lot. I guess, I will try to organize a ride to the hut prior to my travel. And if I cannot find any, I will go the Hirtenweg :) Or maybe both.
