Please tell me your favourite!
Hey all,I have about a week and a half of time off (obviously don't have to use all of it but let's be honest...) and I really wanted to go to part of Eastern Europe (i.e. from the Balkans to the Baltics) as I have only been to Prague and Russia and nothing in between. I was wondering for people who have been to any of those countries what they thought of it and whether they would recommend going? I would be happy either to stay in one country for the whole time or go through a couple but I'd quite like to keep it a little more chilled out then racing to the next place. For me the main thing I would like is culture and experience, but I'd never shy away from a hot beach...
Obviously I know that it is a huge region to compare so really it's just for me to get a rough idea from people who have been whether it sounds like a place that suits what I'm looking for.
Thanks!

For me, Croatia. Its an immensely beautiful country in part with a mix of beach, nightlife and culture.Slovenia (Eastern/Central) and in particular Bled is a fantastic place for relaxing and enjoying scenery. If i were spending a huge amount of time in one place, Croatia for sure.
You have cities, beach-scapes, islands, old towns. And you can always venture into Montenegro.

this branch is aimed at travellers to that region so all of us have been there and presumably most of us have enjoyed it so yes we recommend going.Other than that your post is a bit vague. All countries have 'culture and experience'.
As far as beaches are concerned, it depends on the time of year.
ou should really read a guidebook or check the destinations pages of LP online to get some ideas and see what appeals to you.
