I understand why it was removed (a spammer who posted a query and then forgot to change handles while responding with a recommendation) but i think LP should have let it stand. The various 'reviews' from other posters here were brutal- i doubt that person will ever try to spam again... letting it stand wold serve as a good lesson- most likely OP would be begging the mods to remove it...2
The mods seem to be quicker than before removing spam reported to them, but honestly I find it quite boring to click that flag icon, scroll down the menu to select "spam" and all that. It's much nicer to take justice into our own hands and respond to spam posts by posting devestating reviews of the business.I agree that this post should not have been zapped, not only because the OP was hilariously dumb, but also as some sort of virtual pillory for all the world's spammers to see.
