Traveling to Erbil soon, need some help
I am planning a visit to Erbil in early July. I've reserved hotel monaco palace ( anybody heard about it? ) and I am going to Suleymanie via plane from Sanandaj , Iran.I have some questions:
1- Does any body know how should we get to Erbil from Suli airport? What is the cost? Is it true that Kirkuk road isn't safe? If so, can we go from the other road by airport taxis? What are the prices? ( We are 4 so I think shared taxi is an excellent choice for us as we fill it! )
2- Where should we visit in Erbil as a must? Where should we eat? I heard there is Pizza hut and Burger King there, is that right?
3- How are the food prices per lunch/dinner for one? Is it expensive ( comparing to Iran or Turkey as I know these two places )
4- Is there any good price for clothes like Turkey? SHould we consider there as a shopping destinantion?
5- I know there are good malls such Majidi, Family, Rhein, Tablo, Sofy & Hawler mall. Any other new fancy malls?

1: You will need to go to the Erbil garage in Suly, then take a shared taxi. The Shared taxi is 15,000 for Suly-Erbil. The Kirkuk road is fine, it's Kurdish controlled.2: There are no western chains in Erbil, but there are several almosts. There's PBJ (supopsed to be Papa John's Pizza) there's Texas Chicken (like Church's Chicken) and a few others. As for stuff to see, check out my blog
3: Kurdistan in general is much more expensive than Iran and pricier than Eastern Turkey. A sit down meal at an 'ok' place will easily be $7-$9.
