If it was me, I would get off Malecon into Miramar. Hotel Villa Costa, one room on the ocean, two interior rooms. Converted small Miramar hotel/motel - think Miami boutique oceanfront.8

If you want a suite in a private house and another three bedrooms all overlooking a pool and the ocean like the one at Copacabana hotel, you can get that as well.
But this type of accommodation and services are not for the cheap folks in this Fiurm…lol.. The so-called regulars here spend much of their time looking hoe to reduce in 5 cuc everything they do in Cuba and I know of some that prefer to take their Cuban “frens” and gf to Pollo Ditu only to save; but then come back here and say they experienced the best restaurants in Havana…lol..

Thanks for the suggestions. of course we want to save not point 5.00cuc all our expenses but we also want to know the life of Cubans. I found a house with 3 rooms that look good we'll see they say have 3 comfortable rooms and a large balcony with sea views knows or anyone has been there? here I leave the data.HOUSE IN FRONT OF THE SEA

Ditu.... horrible stuff, imo.Ya, there are a couple of large houses near that hotel in Miramar. Sat dish. pool etc. One right next to it, if I recall. I remember about 10 years I checked it out. Rooms then were between 35-50, depending on the room. It was booked solid, though, for the next few months.

Gres # 10:On the private house arena things have changed a lot. 99% of the houses with nice pools and offering other services do not charge per bedroom anymore but by the entire facility. I do not know one that charges less than 300.00 cuc daily (having three bedrooms).
In fact the one I was referring to in my previous post charges independently by its three bedroom area and the suite. The suite only, see only, no less than 350.00 cuc/night. So total for the house 750.00 cuc. GO figure!

I just got back from my first trip to Cuba and stayed at a casa that might fit your needs. It is called habanavista which has a rooftop pool on the 16th floor. They have several suites and my suite cost 100 euro per night but the place was empty so you might do better.Everything about the place was wonderful from the food to the hospitality. It has trip advisor reviews and a website.
