Eastern Turkey itineraryHi,
Due to the abundance of sights in Eastern Turkey and the absence of online bus schedules I'm looking for help to plan my itinerary.
In any case, we will arrive from the Georgian border (Batumi) and finish 11 days later in Göreme. So, what to do in those 11 days?
Places I have in mind are Yusufeli, Mardin, Hasankeyf, Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa and Nemrut Dagi (Medyat?), but I suppose this is too much for too little time. Moreover I don't know much about travel times between those places.
So, which places are hardest to get to? Which ones are the least worthwile to visit? Any must-sees I overlooked? How about bus connections from Batumi to Turkey?
Thanks a lot!

1Yes there is certainly an abundance of sites to see in Eastern Turkey to definitely include the NORTHEAST near the Georgian border where you will enter. Everything you mention except Yusufeli is in the SOUTHEAST!
Yusefeli for river rafting? and exquisite mountain scenery? You asked about places "hard to get to". I believe this is one of them; Nemrut Dağı is another. Getting to the next stop on your list, Mardin, is certain to take a lot of via bus.
Partly by experience and partly by theory, I believe the most efficient route for the places you mention to be:
Batumi - Yusufeli - Diyarbakir - Hasankeyf - Mardin - Şanlıurfa - Nemrut Dağı - Göreme
Doable in 11 days but expect some transport difficulties that will greatly increase time (considering the distance) for; Batumi - Yusufeli; Yusufeli - Diyarbakir and Nemrut Dağı - Göreme
Are you open to staying mainly in the Northeast? Assuming you like rafting are you open to a hike up Mt. Ararat?

3Thanks a lot!
The reason for not, or hardly, including Northeast Anatolia on this trip is because we will visit Armenia and Georgia before, so for a change of atmosphere we might rather focus on Southeast Anatolia.
The most recent plan is as follows: Batumi - Erzurum (as a stopover) - Mardin - Hasankeyf - Urfa - Diyarbakir - Göreme. Feasable?
