Multiple entry visa for Thailand

Me and my friend (from India) are planning for a short trip to Thailand & Cambodia in the first week of August. We will be landing in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and will be leaving Thailand by train / road to Cambodia via Aranyaprathet / Poipet land border crossing after three days. Again we will be entering Thailand by road similarly after a weeks time and will be flying out of Bangkok the next day.

I was told that there are normal / express visa on arrivals at Bangkok airport. Can any one help me in finding out the following:

a) As our stay is only for a short period - less than 15 days in Thailand, are we required to buy a tourist visa or transit visa
b) Is multiple entry allowed in Transit visa & Tourist visa respectively? Or there is a special fee for the same or should I take two seperate visas in either case.
c) Is it advisable to get the visas in India or can take on arrival - I am not sure whether multiple entry visa for transit / tourist are issued at Bangkok airport

Thanks.

Ravi

You will not get multi-entry.

Better to apply in India. All the info you need is here

a) It doesn't matter if you stay for 1 day or 1 week, you still need a tourist visa or visa on arrival.
b) There are no multiple-entry VOAs. Each entry expires when you leave. Tourist visa (obtained in India) can be single or double entry at the discretion of your Thai embassy/consulate.
c) Indian nationals can get a VOA at Bangkok airport (which expires when you leave Thailand to Cambodia) but not sure about re-entry at Poipet border. I don't believe they do VOAs there so you would either need to fly back to Bangkok or get a tourist visa in advance.

^^ NOT for Indians. NOT 30 days, NOT visa-exempt, and NOT free.

Iam doing the same trip in the first week of November. Landing in Bangkok and crossing over to Cambodia through Poipet border and returning to Bangkok through same route in 4 days.
Nationality: Indian
My question
1. If I take a Double entry tourist Visa to Thailand. Can I use the Visa in the Poipet border when I re enter Thailand?
2. Can both entries for a Visa be used within such short span of time? 4 Days? (Once in Bangkok Airport and other time in Poipet Border)

Ravicsk, can be you please tell me how did you do your trip. What Visa etc.?
