Tetebatu, Lombok - Green Orry

I have emailed the Green Orry to reserve a room for July. Mr Rahman emailed me back and confirmed availablity and asked me to to a bank deposit to his account to reserve the room. My question is, has anyone been there before and can confirm that this is a legitimate person and process? I have not had to do this with any of the other places we reserved with, as we used paypal.
I appreciate any info you could give. Sorry if I am being overly cautious, I just wanted to make sure since it is 500000rph a night.
Thanks!

Re: the previous post - I'm dying to know what happened. My fiance and I are going Aug 3 until about the 16 or so. We're stumped on how to find the type of accommodation we envisioned: simple rustic beach huts with great swimming and access to a local massage therapist for about $35/night. It's my honeymoon, afterall - can't a girl dream? But seriously, can this be had anywhere on Lombok?

The other thing we'd like to do is explore Rinjani and possibly Tetebatu. I know of a homestay at the base of Rinjani, but what about Tetebatu?

Any advice is appreciated - thanks so much!!

Hi Bonjanaweds, I still have no idea if I should pay for the room before hand when we get there or not. I did not get any advice. I have read reviews on Trip Advisor about Green Orry and it seems like a nice place. We will contact the owner again when we get to Indonesia in 3 weeks. We are also staying in Kuta, Lombok at Mimpi Manis Homestay ($18 CND a night). I am pretty sure there are no places in Kuta directly on the beach, except for the really expensive ones. Maybe you would prefer one of the Gili Islands for a beach hut? We are going for our honeymoon as well. Enjoy!
