Some place to leave luggage while hiking the "W"

My friend and I are hoping to do the 4 - 5 day "W" hike later this year. We plan on staying in Refugios where our bedding and
meals are taken care of, just taking the minimal amount of items in a large day pack. Flying into and out of Punta Arenas.
Can anyone recommend a place to safely leave the rest of our luggage while we do the hike.
Many thanks for all help.

Most hostels, at least in Puerto Natales, will hold onto your stuff for free if you come back for another night after the trek, or for about 10,000 Ch pesos for the week if you do not. probaly the hostels or hotels in Punta Areanas would agree to something similiar if you ask. I am not familiar with any purely storage companies or places, but they may exist.

Aside from storing it in Puerto Natales, the best option if you are staying there going or returning, Refugio Torre Central will store luggage. It used to be CLP$1000 per day, roughly US$2, though that price may be out of date.

I agree with above posts. You will find hostales that will allow you to store your luggage provided you stay another night there so I wouldn't worry. If you're staying at the refugios, travel light - you won't need much.

You'll most likely need to spend a night in Puerto Natales for when you arrive or leave so you should leave your luggage there, then travel onto the national park with just your camping and trekking gear. Enjoy the 'w' as it really is a beautiful circuit. I paticularly enjoyed trekking up into the French Valley. Jump into the Photo
