Chamanistic or neo-chamanistic groups in Mexico or Guatemala.

I am going to travel to Mexico and Guatemala this winter and am interested in chamanistm. I have traveled in South America for two years all together and have been involved with Santo Daime, União do Vegetal and other independent groups in Brazil. All revolving around Ayuasca.

I am going to spend this winter in Mexico, Cuba and Guatemala and would like to get in touch with some chamanistic group perferebly working with pyote as i don´t have any experience with that as of yet. Does anybody have any advice. I am interested in al advice i can get but perferebly i would like to get in touch with a genuinely spiritual/religious group and not an enterprise with economical interests.

There seeme to be some interesting things going on arround Lago de Atitlan in Guatemala. I am going there. Mabye there is something there?

I would also like to know if mushrooms, pyote etc is legal in Guatemala and Mexico. If not maybe there are parts of the contrys where it is legal like it is in the Indian reservations in the USA.
