First Time Travelling To EuropeHi Lonely Planet!
I'm planning a trip to Europe for 3 pax during the winter holidays in mid December for approx 21 days. As this is my first time there, I would appreciate if you could give some advise and recommendations as to the number of days needed for the specified destinations each below as well as the itineraries :
Switzerland / Germany / Austria / Italy / Amsterdam / Belgium / London / Paris
Please also advise on the recommended budget accomadations as Switzerland will be our first destination and Paris being the last. I must also add that we would like to celebrate NYE in London.
The assistance and advise rendered is much appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon.

3Sigh, another one (the third poster today!) who either thinks Amsterdam is a country or that it's the only place worth seeing in the Netherlands. Anyway, good for us - let all the tourists flock to that overrated capital of ours, so we have the nicer parts of the country to ourselves.
And yes, do read the link provided in #1 and 2 first. It will clear up a lot of misunderstandings and help you get onto the right track.

Is it possible for us to answer your question? For instance you want to visit Switzerland in December. What do you want to do in Switzerland for example? Visiting modern art museums, skiing in the mountains, shopping....? How can we know?
I really think that your question is too open.
