Toll roads in Czech Rpeublic

I'll travel from Vienna to Wroclaw by car. Are the highways in Czech Republic (and Poland) subject to charge?
In case of affirmation: Will I be able to pay on location or will I need some kind of vignette or hardware? Do I need foreign currency or will they take EURO too? Or is it possible to pay with credit card?
Thanx in advance!

Best of luck with everything ! !

Good info above, but to put it simply (for the Czech Republic at least)

You can buy vignettes which you stick on the windscreen at the border - usually a couple of sellers.
They seem cheaper if purchased in Czech Crowns, but Euros are also accepted; from memory I paid 310 kc for 10 days a couple of weeks ago.
I was never sure which roads were tollways and which weren't, but the vignette was inexpensive and gave peace of mind.

All of the highways are toll, so you can conceivably drive around the country without it. It would be difficult though :)
