7.5 hour layover in Kiev this June -- worthwhile leaving the airport?
I'll be in Kiev for a rather long layover at Borispol in June before flying onward to Odesa. Plane lands 0820, takes off again at 1555. Is this enough time to do anything worthwhile in Kiev without risking missing my flight? Take a three hour tour of the centre, perhaps? Or something better and closer? I realize the Euro 2012 football events happen around this time, so if it will be chaotic or I'll be cutting it close, I'll skip it.Let me know your thoughts.

The time is more than enough! Do not stay in the airport - go explore the city! You can take the bus to the city and back ("marshrutka"). Sometimes traffic jams occur on bridges across the river Dnipro in Kiev, but you can always take the green line metro to Kharkivska station, from where you can take the same bus to the airport without risking the traffic on the bridge.Good luck!
