You definitely can with other EU passports- definitely UK, German and Dutch at least. I'm not 100% sure about French.

You'll have no problem. It costs about $90 USD. They also accept Euros I think.

The official policy is that if there is a Mozambique Consulate in your home country, you are expected to get your visa there. BUT, Maputo Airport, and all other "Airports of Entry" (Inhambane, Pemba, Beira, Vilanculos, Tete etc) AND most land border posts, have been issuing visas to ALL nationalities (except SADC citizens as they don't need a visa) for many years now. Cost is $50 - $90 depending on how much your country charges Mozambicans to visit.

@Mike, not sure if your info is up to date. I'm pretty sure there is now a flat fee for all visas, at 2,090 meticais. The US dollar and Euro exchange rates are usually not very favourable (ie. better to pay in mets if you have them.

You are probably right Ozzie, but my experience up to end 2011 is that visa fees may be fixed at a particular border but vary from border to border.

I just got back from Moz. A single entry visa for Japan and US (should be too different for EU countries) was $80 at Pemba airport and Garcia Ressano, the border with South Africa. They only do single entry visas, so if you want a multi entry, you need to get that at the embassy in your home country. Not sure how much cheaper a multi entry is.
