Congo visa question
Can anyone tell me the latest regarding Congo visas? I am Canadian and want to enter overland from Uganda. I have heard you pay US$50 but only get 7 days. That doesn't leave much safety margin for a 5-6 day climb. Does anyone have on-the-ground experience doing this?I want to climb Margarita Peak in the Ruwenzoris in Oct or Nov. I am serious about reaching the top (did Mt Kenya in March). I am flexible about dates, so if anyone else is going around then, let me know.
