most common fuel used for camping gas cooker

Hi guys !

I'm about to leave for my travel that will bring me from Bangladesh to Armenia through the stans.

I would like to know what is the main fuel used for camping gas cooker. Is white gas widely available ? Is it easy to buy a gas cooker ? where ?

MSR-like stoves and gas cartridges (w/screw connector) are most widely used in CA. Kovea is most common brand. You need to look at mountaineering/trekking stuff shops.
