Need Info & Tips for Horseback Trekking at SongPan
I'm thinking to go for horseback trekking at Songpan from 25th May - 1th June 2012.Is there any bus services from Chengdu to Songpan? Did the bus service operated daily?
Is it possible to travel alone without using the service of travel agent?
I'm quite adventurous and doesn't mind the non luxury tour. The main thing is to travel at cheaper cost! ;)

There is a daily bus from Chengdu to Songpan. No organized tour is required to go to this region. You can travel there on your own. There are a couple of horse trekking companies in Songpan. Most of them require you to register for a horse trek at least a day before you plan to leave. Talk to Emma at Emma's Kitchen in Songpan for more information.
