Toronto to Kingston, best route?

Hi there

Tossing up travelling from Toronto to Kingston via Prince Edward County for via Frontenac Provincial Park. Looking for the most scenic route.

Thanks, Michelle

There are only 2 routes to go on, the 401 at about 2 1/2 hours or the old # 2 highway which will probably take 6-8 hours going through every small town along the way!

Well you could take the 401 to just past Brighton (or stop in Brighton, Pres'quile Park is here) and then go down to Prince Edward county and tour around there (Sandbanks park, vineyards) and then go towards the 401 via the Bay bridge in Belleville. Get back on the 401 and continue on to Kingston! It is a very nice scenic side trip on the way to Kingston.
