Kruger, Garden route & Cape town in 3 wks?
Hi,As is usual with the type of questions I'm about to ask, they've probably been answered somewhere already!
We've got 3 weeks (end of Sept. into Oct.) for a trip to S.A. Flying into Jo'Burg and we're looking for any advice on whether or not to spend the 3 wks. in Kruger or try and split the time between Kruger and Port Elizabeth on to Cape town. We're planning to rent a car in Jo'burg and keep it for Kruger. Would consider an internal flight if it saved time get to Port elizabeth. Should we just chill out and take it slow in Kruger, or go for the long haul and take in Cape town too?
Any help welcome!

I would just do a week in Kruger and surrounds and then keep driving all the way to Cape Town. Flying to PE makes you miss out on the Wild Coast which is kinda spectacular. From Kruger, your route could be (off the top of my head): Swaziland, Drakensberg, Coffee Bay - Wild Coast, Tsitsikamma, Knysna, Wilderness, Mosselbay, Hermanus, Franschoek, Cape Town. You can do less or more stops depending on how you feel.Weather in Cape Town for spring is really anyone's guess so its kinda hit and miss that time of year.
Also book your accommodation in the Kruger as soon as possible - it fills up quick if its not full already.
