You have one last trip
Wasn't sure where else to post this...As dreary as it sounds, here is your scenario... you have been told you only have 2 years to live. You want to take one last trip before you go, and spend the remaining time with your family at home.
Where do you go? If you were given one last hurrah, what's the place that you would want to spend your last trip in? Maybe a place you'd been before and want to see one last time or that one last place you just have to see before your time is up. Oh, and let's limit it to, say, a month so there aren't a bunch of wise-guys cheating the system.

Vancouver in the Spring for me. Maybe a stop over in Disney world on the way...why not...2
The South Pacific is really high on my "see before I die" list. Especially the some of the more remote Cook Islands. I'd also have a lot of catching up to do, places I haven't been to and have always wanted to spend a long time traveling through, like Indonesia and Belize/Guatemala.3
South Africa. First it's the country I most want to return to, second I couldn't depart this Earth knowing my hour and not going on one more safari, one more dance, one more visit to that beguiling continent.Funny but if it was a last trip I don't think I would want to go somewhere new. I guess in my mind it would be a time to reflect back on your life and all that instead, so revisiting places you love would be an extension of that reflection.

Either do the Trans- Siberia (St. Petersberg- Beijing, making sure you stop at Moscow, Irkutsk (to see Lake Baikal) and Mongolia) in the winter or do Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
