Anything special going on in Sydney June 3-7?

I'm going to be in Sydney June 3-7. When trying to book a hotel on booking.com, it says:

"It’s busy in Sydney on your selected dates, so prices might be higher than normal."

Anything special going on?

Try another booking engine, like needitnow or wotif.

Nothing happening on those dates. The following weekend has a holiday on Monday 11 June. Hotel prices will probably rise.

I can see plenty of accommodation available for that period on Wotif . I've never really had much joy from booking.com, though it seems popular with the Europe mob.

The deals on Wotif for those dates seem pretty reasonable for Sydney.
