Street sense will see you through. Money belt!
Ask folks about street sense.

We travel to learn. And partially more about ourselves.

Hi soulsunited,

I too will be traveling alone for the first time in Spain in May. I'm 24 years old and from Canada. If you'd like we should stay in touch and talk about how we're each going about this.

To be honest I'm hugely excited and only a little apprehensive. There will be a few hiccups along the way but that's part of the experience. I was initially planning to do this with a friend but I'm actually glad that I'll be doing it alone, for reasons stated by others above.

16. Sure there will be a few learning curve jolts. But like Rick Steves says in EUROPE THROUGH THE BACK DOOR, as you're fuguring out your problem, you'll bbe having experiences and meeting people you wouldn't have. Its all a pleasent learning curve.

Be not afraid, my son. Its AFGO as we say in AA. Another frigging growth opportunity. :)
