How is it cycling into Lima? -also bike shop recommendation.
I will be cycling into Lima from the north. I need to go to miraflores, find lodging, and then find a bike shop where I can get a cardboard box for the bike. I would also like to have some work done on my bike before I leave and take advantage of the low costs of labor. I don´t suppose there are any bike paths I could utilize. I am a reasonably condident rider in traffic but Lima I´m sure will be a challenge. thanks for any advice.1
The traffic into Lima from the north is very heavy and and at quite a few places there is no shoulder on the 4 lane road and there are lots of trucks. No fun.It is much safer to take a bus into Lima.
