1) What time does the ticket office at train station open? If the office isn't open say until 7, do you think there will be tickets left for sale when it opens?
2) What time do shared taxis start running? And where do I go to take one?
Pls advise what to do. Should I try to get some sleep at airport then head to train station as soon as ticket office opens? Or take a shared taxi?
Is the hotel at train station still closed to foreigners? Will I be able to get a room?
Thanks very much

So After airport you ned to go to trainstation its 4 km from the airport!
ticket office open 24/7! for foreign people is easy to buy a ticket and you dont have to stay on the lane and wait!!
buy for speed train!! it depart at 7 am! and they have a hotel its very smal!! and you have to share the room with others! costs 16 000 sum! it's aprox. $8. taxi too they work 24/7 and lil bit cheaper its like 25 000sum for one person! but you gotta share the taxi with other people!!! for me the best is a train!!! so have a good trip

2When I entered and exited Tashkent airport it took about 3 hours each way, though if you don't have to get a visa on arrival as I did it my take you a little less. The airport was the one and only hassle in the whole trip though. I travelled Tashkent-Samarkand on the express train. If you have a yen to see the countryside enroute to Samarkand be warned that the locals may like to keep the blinds closed during the trip, though it was summer when I went last time.
As I'll be going there myself in 3 weeks it would be great to get some feedback re the entry/exit stuff. Have a wonderful trip!
