Advice on 2 month Peru-Bolivia-Brazil trip
I am looking to leave for Peru around 6th April give or take, then plan to head through Nazca and Cuzco crossing into Bolivia through Lake Titicaca, taking in the Salt flats, then heading down toward Brazil through the Pantanal, Iguassu then on to Sao Paulo, Paraty ended in Brazil. I have a new job starting June, so I preferably want to leave 31st May to have a bit longer at home to sort myself before I start. This would give me about 8 weeks.Do people think this is reasonable in 8 weeks and is easy to arrange? Do I need to stay longer than c. 8 weeks? If so I can stay longer, but only for a maximum of 2 weeks more.
My budget is about £4k all in, including flights. I can currently find flights into Lima on the 6th April leaving Rio 31st May for between £550-650.
So far from my research Peru and Bolivia will be doable and reasonable to arrange, but getting from Bolivia towards the Pantanal then to Iguassu then to Sao Paulo seems difficult and is my main concern. What are people's advice to get through this leg of the journey and how much time do I need to allow to get down? I was thinking I will spend 2-2.5 weeks getting from Peru to finishing Salt flats in Bolivia, then 1.5 weeks travelling and staying in Pantanal and Iguassu, then c. 2 weeks getting from Iguassu, few days in Sao Paulo, then chill in Paraty and Ilha Grande before finishing last few days in Rio.
Any advice on how long I should allow for each leg, mainly how long it will take me to get from Bolivia through Brazil, and which transport will be helpful.
Thanks

i have been to peru and bolivia, spending about 3 months between the two. I haven't been to Brazil though. On your budget, peru and bolivia can easily be done. both are very cheap countries. the problem is going to come once you get to brazil, because from what I have heard it is about as expensive to travel here as it is in the west. this was primarily the reason I didn't go there.
personally, if you an afford to stay and extra two weeks, then i would definately recommend it. it will elt you travel slower.
peru in the south: ica, huacahina, cuzco (MP and sacred valley), puno, arequipa (can be done in three weeks).
Bolivia: well worth making a detour and going on a tour in the amazon in rurrembarque. Also, copacobana and isla de sol, la paz, sucre, uyuni and salt flats, potosi. can be done in three weeks, with maybe cutting out one destination.

So far in my research Peru-Bolivia seems reasonable to organise, the same once I've broken into Iguassu. I'm having real problems getting definitive information for getting from Santa Cruz to Puerto Quijarro then into Corumba. The train service seems real hard to arrange from Santa Cruz, and then all kinds of potential issues open arriving at Puerto Quijarro and then finding accommodation there. It seem at the border immigration is likely to be shut (in which case how do I cross into Brazil?) or you are hassled by men saying I cannot cross the border then charging me tonnes to stay in an expensive hotel. Could someone help clear this up as I am getting increasingly worried about this leg of the journey especially if I am alone and having picked up fellow travellers on the way.

couldn't tell you about that border crossing. maybe its worth searching the border crossing on here.BTW, I guess this depends on your nationality, but for brazil alot of nationalities cannot get a visa upon arrival. For this reason, you might have to get the wheels in motion for a Brazilian visa as I hear it can take a while.
