Itinerary for 7noghts Trip to Switzerland
Hi Everyone,I am planning a trip to switzerland with my wife. I am currently living in Brno, Czech Republic. I am finding it real hard for the first time to plan a trip as there are so many interesting places and i just cant make up my mind on which one's to drop and which one;s to stick with.
So here is the outline of my plan SO FAR:
30th June, 2012:
Leave early morning from brno by car and reach Zurich in the afternoon
While in Zurich, visit Rhine water falls, roam around the city...take a walking tour of the city...
1st July, 2012:
Mt. Pilatus & Alpnachstad (golden roundtrip with cruise on lake luzern and glass factory)
2nd July, 2012:
Day trip to Bern (is it a whole day deal or i could cover something else on my way)
3rd July, 2012:
Zermatt and Glacier Express
4th July, 2012:
Mt. Rigi OR Stanserhorn OR Mt. Titlus
5th July, 2012:
Spend in Luzern - traffic museum (www.verkehrshaus.ch), the old town and the Glacier Garden (www.gletschergarten.ch)
6th July, 2012:
Go to Brunnen, see the city and the swiss knife museum
7th July, 2012:
Spend the day there and go to Innsbruck
8th July, 2012:
Visit the Swarovski museum and leave for brno in the afternoon
Not sure how much of it is possible, as its my first time to Switzerland and not sure if i will be able to do all of it as i have planned.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated to finalize my trip.
Thanks!

Hi thereI Suisse and think you can skip Mt. Rigi OR Stanserhorn OR Mt. Titlus, especially after having seen Zermatt/Glacier Express and Pilatus I think it doesn't differ very much. But may be thats only because I am very used to the alps as a suisse :-)
I suggest to take a cruise on Vierwaldstättersee

30th June:I wonder what makes so many people think the Rhine falls are in Zürich - they aren't, as any map reveals. With just a few hours in the city you have no time for a side trip to Schaffhausen. You won't have much time for Zürich city either, so I wonder if the detour is worth it at all. The drive from Brno to Switzerland will consume most of the day.
