Recommend Doctor in Zacatecas?
Walking in the dark last night, tripped on a chain blocking cars from a road, fell, hurt myself just below the knee, bad enough that it is painful to walk. Would like to see a good GP or specialist, welcome any suggestions of Doctors or clinics.1
Where are you - in the center? You might try one of the doctors affiliated with the farmacias - they can give you a referral to an orthopedic if you need one or can do minor fix-ups right there. The docs at Simi farmacia on Tacuba by Aguascalientes are good and are there Sundays too. If its more serious might want to go to the ER at Hospital San Agustin on the border of Zac Guadalupe or for cheaper the ER at Servicios Sociales (serves the state so there will be a line) Any taxi can help you. . Let me know here if you need more help, also where are you staying? pw2
Thank you Zapfilms. I wanted something a little "higher class" than the pharmacy doc's (which I have used for minor things), and the folks where we had breakfast sent me to Hospital Santa Elena on Guerrero Street. The guy I saw there was good and luckily I just need to rest it. Nothing broken. We are staying a Hotel Casa del Gobernador, OK, but a little overpriced IMHO, though I know this is the "big city" with correspondingly higher rates.
Thanks for answering!

Oh, this whole thing started when we went out last night to find a bar or such to get a drink. In el centro everything was either loud or smoky that we found. I assume you live here - any suggestions as to where an older couple would find some place - maybe in a hotel bar? Have been to the "Bullring" bar, which is nice but double normal prices.ADVERTISEMENT
