Travel to EriceiraJust wondering what the best way of getting over to Ericeira from Lisbon would be by public transport.
Also any top tips for the area would be much appreciated :)

1Hey! You can get to Ericeira from Campo Grande in Lisbon. Campo Grande is a metro station in the green line and right behind the metro station there are buses. You can catch either Mafrense or Barraqueiro - there are plenty of buses all day long and trip takes around 1 hr.
I lived in Ericeira for a couple of years, 5 years back. What kind of stuff are you into? Surfing?! Could perhaps recommend you something depending on your taste. Or even get you in touch with a good friend of mine over there, who speaks English and I am sure would be happy to show someone around. It's a really nice place! :)

2Thanks for your reply, it was really useful!
We're heading there from Lisbon to do some (cold!) surfing and generally chill out. Spending a day in Lisbon and the rest of the time out there on the coast - looks amazing! Any reccomendations would be great - I'm into surfing alot but my boyfriend has never tried it so I'm not sure if it'll work out :P
We've also hired a scooter (tourists, i know!) so we're mobileeeeeeeeee.

3Surfing can get difficult in Ericeira's coast - depending on the weather it can be a bit for pros.
There are a couple of surf schools in case you need a hand! ;) Haven't tried them so I can't comment if they are any good:
Good thing you took the scooter so that you can wonder around. I would totally explore Lisbon, even Sintra and other coastal areas such as Cascais or Praia do Guincho, which is actually famous for surfing as well.
Have a great time! :)
