Question for Indonesia Kalimantan / Sumatra experts re Green the Film

The searing images of a female Orangutan 'Green', helpless and in near death throes being plucked from the mud, possibly in Kalimantan, from a documentary called Green The Film, have appeared in many news channels just recently.

Here are a couple of those articles:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2118376/Filmmakers-heart-wrenching-documentary-shows-tragic-final-hours-orangutans-life.html
http://news.msn.co.nz/worldnews/8439943/orangutans-last-moments-caught-on-film

The original site for the documentary and the story is at http://www.greenthefilm.com/

I noticed from my own post (and photography from a short trip) about Malaysian Borneo recently, that there are a few highly experienced Borneo / Kalimantan / Sumatra travelers on this forum. My question to you is: What is your opinion of this story/documentary, and what is the ground reality in Indonesian Borneo and Sumatra with deforestation and the fate of the Orangutans as relayed in this documentary?

Thanks

IMO, the reality is worse than any film can portray.
At least it is on Kalimantan. I can't speak for Sumatra.
