To Stonehenge from Salisbury

Ill be in England in late august, and iplan to visit stonehenge. First, i thought Ill book a tour , but then i heard of brit xplorer by national express which gives you a 7 day unlimited travel for 79 pounds, so i decided to buy it. My plan is to go from london to Salisbury but can anyone tell me how to get from Salisbury to stonehenge? Is there a local bus or something? How frequent is it? Is there a timetable anywhere so i can see it.

Hi.
Nicest way - and it saves a lot of money on the tour bus....
Get a bus from Salisbury to Amesbury (regular service). Then walk to Stonehenge.
It takes about 15 minutes for the bus ride - and a further 20 minutes to walk the mile or so, to Stonehenge.
Check-out 'Woodhenge', as well.

Step out of the train station in Salisbury, turn left and after about 20 meter or so there is the bus waiting to take tourists to Stonehenge.

Don't forget to walk around in Salisbury, it's a lovely town and the cathedral is breathtaking.
