Trek Nepal

Hi. We are thinking of doing a trek in Nepal, early 2013,the Annapurna Chitwan (World Expeditions) looks good. has anyone heard of this company, or can anyone advise on a tour company they have gone with. We would like to go with a group. We would like a moderate trek, not too challenging. Any advice??
Thanks

My husband and I used Trek Nepal for a combined Annapurna Circuit and Mustang Trek in November. We were extremely happy with our guides and porters but extremely disappointed with the company and its management.

We had intended to trek without a guide but decided we wanted to go to Mustang and thus required a registered guide by law. Four days into our Mustang trek we found that the guide they had provided us was not actually a registered guide only a guide in training and they had used another guides license number at the check points.

We also were quite distraught to find out that they had taken us into a remote district like Mustang with no First Aid kit and no means of water treatment despite being part of the service promised to us. Their excuse was that they knew we were well prepared so they didn't see the need to carry it. Thank goodness we were actually well prepared with our own water treatment and first aid supplies because otherwise we would have been in trouble.

Our trek included flights back to Kathmandu. When the flights were cancelled due to weather no one from the agency even tried to contact us to ensure we were ok. We ended up having to track down the travel agent they bought the tickets from, getting our own refund and using the money to arrange for our own transportation back to Kathmandu. We even ran into the owner of the company in the airport waiting for the same flight and still nothing!

We paid good money for our trek with Trek Nepal and overall I don't feel like they provided us with the level of service they promised.
