Public Transport from Enfidha AirportHi there
I will be arriving Enfidha Airport on a Thomson flight next sunday. Please advise whether there are public transports to ANY nearby cities from the airport. I don't mind even if there are cheap public transports from the airport to cities further away like Tunis as I have a flexible schedule. The whole idea is to save taxi fare.
Also any idea whether there are ATMs to get cash in the airport?

3there are slightly unreliable bus services to and from airport to say Sousse. Taxi from Sousse would be about £30. Cheaper to Enfida I think.

is it reliable please?

7I posted the initial query and below are my personal experience:
Upon arriving Enfidha on the Sunday morning, the scheduled bus/minibus stood us up. Most other plane passengers boarded the Thomson and Thomas Cook coaches heading for the booked resorts. Taxis were charging an arm and a leg to Sousse. The four stranded (3 parties of people unmet before landing, including a British Tunisian) pax negotiated a tourist company minibus that had unloaded departing tourists for about £2.5 each to Sousse, It was a lucky break.
On leaving Tunisia, the very early morning shuttle minibus from Sousse I took on a Sunday to Enfidha Airport costed around £2.5. The other few passengers were staff working at the airport.
There may be one or two bureau exchanges open at the airport most likely on the 1st floor and less likely on the ground floor. My bank charged £1.9 to use the ATM there.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us, sorry to hear the story about your unpleasant arrival, which transfer company did you book with? Or do you actually mean the scheduled shuttle bus as advertised on Enfidha's website?
When return from Sousse to the airport, did you just use the public transport (shuttle), where is the pick-up point and do they have any schedule posted online please?

9The airport-Sousse minibus we used belongs to a tour company whose name I didn't record. The Sousse-airport minibus is public transport but the pick up point is not the usual bus terminal. Whilst asking for the airport minibus at 5.45h at the bus terminal next to the medina wall, they told me to jump on a public bus and dropped me at the pick up point. I don't recall the exact location. So you must asked and keep asking. Directions given are contradicting some of the time.

10rainesh: the airport-Sousse minibus was not 'public transport'. Not the one the airport website advertised.
