hi guysi m planning to go to kota kinabalu from sandakan
i was thinking bout using the bus but some malaysian friend of mine scared me about the bumpy roads, the very unconfortable trip, the danger of travelling by night by bus...
what do u think about it?
is it so bad?

Hi brawler how is your trip going?that bus is ok...its not very comfortable but not so bad either..and not really dangerous.
If you really don't want to do it you might get a cheap flight from Sandakan to KK.....Airasia have one in the morning and one in the afternoon,pretty cheap if you get the right day.

I am presuming you already arrived in KK but I'd just like to say that Masada Backpackers is a great option. Possibly the cleanest place I've been to, free coffee, tea, toasts, crackers all day and good location, 5min walk from the waterfront. 80RM for a double and 45RM for a dorm bed as far as I remember.
