Weather mid-late May
Hi, I've done a search, but can't find what I'm looking for. Undoubtedly, this will be the first of several posts planning for my trip!I am expecting to be in Jordan from May 13-28, and understand that this is the start of summer. Typically (or in the last few years), what are temperatures like at this time of year? Crazy hot, hot, moderate - or something altogether different?
I'll be with my lady, and travelling all around the country - destinations still being researched.
Thanks!
Mike

Au contraire chezmike. The link referred to takes you directly to the weather channel website where I found a daily weather planner listing the average historical temperature and weather conditions for several areas of Jordan for every day in the month of May, or any other day of the year for that matter.

Thanks MP and LT,LT - after your confirmation, I looked more closely, found nothing, then looked more closely again.
A few links later, I found the following pages - referenced for those searching the forum later.
Daily May averages for Amman - other months available with one click.
Jordan weather page - where you can click through to several cities.
Seems like a 4 degree increase from mid May - late May - in other words, entirely manageable - even fantastic!

Temperature at the end of May is variable already, might be crazy hot, might be very pleasant. However, when you add in the different altitudes of the various tourist sites, it is very difficult indeed to give a good idea.Howeve, generally speaking, you are looking at temperatures of around 30-35C in most places. At least the evenings should be very pleasant, and you are unlikely to need a sweater then.

I traveled through Jordan at that time of year and found the weather to be very pleasant. At times during the day it would get warm but not unbearably hot and in the evenings it was always very pleasant. I wore convertible pants and I only resorted to removing the legs while at Petra and Aqaba. I visited places from Jerash to Aqaba.Mark
