Kerala in March - Crazy to go because of weather??
Hi, I am trying to get to Kerala for 3 weeks asap and had issues with scheduling. All the books say March starts to suck in Kerala because of a dramatic heat/humidity rise. I have spent plenty of time in India and have always dreamed of getting to Kerala...so, if I can not go until March---is it crazy? How would it be really? Should I do it or save it for another year? Thanks!!!2
March in Kerala is fine, you might get a few more showers but there certainly isn't a dramatic change in temperatures what is this "all the books" your talking about. Quick google search avg temp in February, 31, avg temp March, 32, and a very slight increase in rainfall.4
hello thiiDa,Do i agree or not agree with sbballer33 and api?
As they say the temperature is surely bearable but please not forget humidity around costal areas.
If you ask me for a hills station in kerala, taking rain is not a prblem to you i would suggest the rainy seasons, but for coastal parts Humidity is key just try to keep hydrated and tolerate with it,you will be fine.

Actually March is not a bad time to go to Kerala - weather wise. Heavy rains due to southwest monsoon only start in June, and light rains due to north east monsoons would have got over.Additionally, Indian holiday crowds only start in April, so March is a perfect tiem to visit Kerala.
