Cairns and reef next week
looking for some insight if the current weather in Cairns. I am planning to fly in on Monday (Feb 6) and stay for 3-4 days but the forecast does not look great. Would it be still possible to do some trips to the reef or spend a day in the Daintree?Any suggestions on which boat/company to rent for the reef excursions or which island would be the best to stay.

Today (Saturday) we had shocking weather. Winds were cyclonic and raining most of the day.Weather forecast says it should be mainly fine on Monday though.
Most of the boats will still go to the reef. Visibility may not be very good though.
If you don't want to go to the reef, there's plenty of other things to do in and around Cairns.
