Cheap Back Packers near OR Tambo Jo'burg

Hi

Are Emerald and Airport back packers the only places near the OR Tambo airport?

Emerald charges R230 a night for a dorm room??! geez!

Is this all that's out there??

There are so many that, although they are not so near, will pick you up from OR Tambo for free and don't charge too much to get you back there.

You could try Brown Sugar or Diamond Diggers.

I stayed at Lakeview Backpackers at the end of November and would recommend them highly. Close to the airport, very friendly and helpful, and close to shops if you are self catering.
